Ties in with that Car & Driver article about the F1 from a design and execution standpoint, with interviews with owners, techs, and employees. O
ne of the McLaren techs had a German
owner who had a mystery
warning light every day for his morning and
evening commute. Turns out the warning light was indicating the engine cover was open, and would only happen between like 180-195mph.
